What
You Do
In Advance
-
Decide which foods you will use.
-
Allowing one card for each food, print the Spanish name for it and the
pronunciation on one side. Print the English name on the other.
-
Display the foods on a table. Pile the cards on the table with the Spanish
names facing up.
With the Children
-
Let the children take turns choosing a card and trying to pronounce the
Spanish name.
-
Let them in turn place the card next to the appropriate food. They can
turn over the cards to see if they guessed right.
